German Beer Bread
breads
3 cup self-rising flour
2 tablespoon sugar, rounded
12 oz beer, room temperature
1 1/2 teaspoon dillweed, cheese or bacon bits (opt; )
1 pinch salt
1/2 cup butter, melted
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix first five ingredients together well. Pour into greased 9x5-inch loaf pan. Bake for 30 minutes. Pour butter over top and bake 10 minutes more or until brown. Best when eaten warm.
