Klossel Und Sauerkraut (Dumplings And Sauerkraut)
dumplings, pickles, vegetables
2 cup flour
4 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon shortening
1 egg
1 milk
Add 1 egg and enough milk to make a stiff dough as for biscuits. Take by tablespoons and roll in flour. Place 1/2 inch apart on top of hot sauerkraut. Let steam for 15 minutes.
