Mystery Mini Meatballs
beef, crockpot, groundmeat
3 lb lean ground beef, i mix
1 turkey and beef
1 pkg lipton onion soup mix
3 eggs, beaten
1 italian bread crumbs.
1 add some water if mixture is
1 too dry
1 sauce:
16 oz sauerkraut, drained
16 oz can whole cranberry sauce
1/2 cup brown sugar
10 oz bottle of chili sauce
1/3 cup water
aka BBQ Sauerkraut in the Hackmann household
Mix the meatball ingredients together and make meatball about 1 1/2" in diameter and place in greased 10x14" baking pan.
Bring all the sauce ingredients to a boil in a saucepan and simmer for 5-10 minutes. Pour/spoon over the meatballs making sure some gets on each one. Bake at 350 deg F for 1 hour. Serve with buttered noodles or rice, mashed potatoes work too. Serves 6-8. They are great for covered dish dinners. You can keep warm or reheat in a crockpot.
